Someone is going to need to order some celebratory shots. “Jersey Shore” is coming back for round two.

MTV suits announced late Friday night that Pauly D, Mike, Snooki, Jenni, Sammi, Ronnie and Vinny had signed on to a second season of the wildly successful reality show. The current deal calls for 12 more shows this summer.

The biggest surprise in the press announcement was that the new series will be filmed in a “new destination” away from the boardwalk.

“Our audience has fallen in love with ‘Jersey Shore,’ ” said MTV Programming President Tony DiSanto in the statement.
There was word earlier this week that the cast would earn up to $10,000 an episode. Leave it to us to figure out some very creative, Jersey-friendly ways to spend that cash money!
