Someone is going to need to order some celebratory shots. “Jersey Shore” is coming back for round two.

MTV suits announced late Friday night that Pauly D, Mike, Snooki, Jenni, Sammi, Ronnie and Vinny had signed on to a second season of the wildly successful reality show. The current deal calls for 12 more shows this summer.

The biggest surprise in the press announcement was that the new series will be filmed in a “new destination” away from the boardwalk.

“Our audience has fallen in love with ‘Jersey Shore,’ ” said MTV Programming President Tony DiSanto in the statement.
There was word earlier this week that the cast would earn up to $10,000 an episode. Leave it to us to figure out some very creative, Jersey-friendly ways to spend that cash money!

Concert promoter Live Nation said Thursday that West’s concert tour with Lady Gaga, titled “Fame Kills,” has been canceled just two weeks after it was announced.

The reason for the cancellation was not revealed. West told NBC’s Jay Leno last month, before the tour was officially announced, that he planned “to take some time off” in the aftermath of his MTV Awards show embarrassment.

The three-month, 34-show tour across the United States and Canada was to start next month. Tickets went on sale last week.

Live Nation said people who bought tickets could get refunds at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online and on the phone will be refunded automatically, the promoter said.

West caused a ruckus at the MTV Awards last month when he put down his bottle of cognac, jumped on the MTV Music Video Awards stage and grabbed the microphone from singer Taylor Swift as she was giving an acceptance speech.

West, who apologized the next day on “The Jay Leno Show,” seemed to blame his erratic behavior on the lack of time he had to grieve his mother’s death two years ago.

“I deal with hurt and, you know, so many, you know, celebrities, they never take the time off, and I’ve never taken the time off to really, you know, I just, music after music and tour after tour on tour,” West told Leno.

And then there was that delicious rumor that Timberlake and Rihanna were making a helluva lot more than just sweet music together.

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi were arrested with authority, as the couple had a felony arrest warrant issued for them earlier today. The ‘Kingpin’ actor and his better half reportedly put up a fight during the Texas arrest, and Evi was reportedly wrestled to the ground while screaming.

The couple allegedly dashed out on a $10,000 hotel bill — and apparently this wasn’t their first time.

According to RadarOnline.com reports, the Quaids were staying at the posh San Ysidro Ranch in June when the credit card they were using was denied. They promised hotel staff that a new card would be coming soon, but several days and thousands of dollars in charges later, they made like a tree.

They have been charged with three felony counts each: Defrauding an innkeeper, conspiracy and Burglary.

The famous couple have a history of eluding hotel bills, a source close to the investigation told Radar. The Quaids are also in the hole for $17,000 in unpaid bills to the Hotel Bel-Air and — shockingly — are said to be keeping an un-returned rental car in their Texas home.

Bail will be set at $20,000.

Kourtney Kardashian admits she wouldn’t mind stripping down to show off her growing baby bump, especially if its for the cover of Rolling Stone. When asked by E!’s Daily 10 if she’d be flaunting her pregnancy curves like Britney Spears and Demi Moore, Kardashian says, “I think so.”

Last week, Kardashian announced she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Scott Disick. The couple had originally split in February, but recently reunited. “He’s very excited. When I found out, I was so shocked. I didn’t know what to do. He was so for it and so excited from the beginning. And we’re really happy,” she added.

And how about those food cravings? Kardashian admits they are a lot different than she ever expected. “You know what’s weird? Like, I always thought, like, if I was pregnant I would eat like, McDonald’s or like, Taco Bell all day long or something,” she says. “I’m not craving those things. Like, I’ve been craving, like, cold stuff like frozen yogurt and smoothies and like, I’ve been eating way more fruit then I used to eat before.”

Steven Tyler the charismatic singer in Aerosmith, fell off the stage at a concert during a motorcycle rally in South Dakota on Wednesday night and was reportedly airlifted to a local hospital with neck and shoulder injuries.

The Rapid City Journal is reporting that Tyler took a dive shortly after the legendary rockers began their song ‘Love In an Elevator’ at the famed Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Apparently, the sound system had cut out. A witness told reporters that he tottered backward and fell from the stage and was promptly helped up by security, but was then taken backstage.

Guitarist Joe Perry emerged and told the audience that his lead singer was heading to the hospital.

Mike Sanborn of the Buffalo Chip Campground, where the concert was held, said Tyler was in “good spirits” as he was ushered away.

“He was good natured about it,” he told the Associated Press. “He was talking and joking with the physician.”

This was the first time Aerosmith had performed at the rally, and promoters had earlier predicted the band would draw the biggest crowd in South Dakota history. The number of bummed-out fans has not been released.

It may suck the big robot when it comes to the reviews, but the Transformers sequel is also sucking in some serious bank.

After 14 days in theaters, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has hit the $300 million mark in U.S. ticket sales—second only to last summer’s The Dark Knight, which went on to become the second-biggest grossing film of all time behind 1997’s Titanic.

By way of comparison, 2007’s original Autobots vs. Decepticons battle raked in $319.2 million during its entire domestic theatrical run, and $700 million worldwide.

Since its June 24 release, the very noisy Revenge of the Fallen, starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox, has grossed $600 million internationally, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com. About 8 percent of the total comes from IMAX screenings.

Guess you could say demolition-happy director Michael Bay has really gotten a buck for his bang.

As if their ever-growing brood wasn’t already a clear sign, Brangelina loves kids. So it’s no surprise that the power couple spares no expense when it comes to children’s charitable causes.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and a gaggle of Pitt family members donated $1 million to St. John’s Hospital this weekend.

The brother of the Inglourious Basterds star, Doug Pitt, made news of the donation public Saturday.

The Springfield, Mo., hospital will use the big bucks to establish an endowment fund for children’s care specialists, as well as construct a new pediatric unit. This in-hospital Ronald McDonald House will double the size of the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units already inside the hospital.

St. John’s cancer treatment unit will be renamed to honor the Pitts’ donation. Brad’s mom is a dedicated proponent of children’s issues, and the center will be known as Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center in recognition of her advocacy.

So he’s handsome, loves kids and honors his mom? Sigh.
